An Esther is a woman set apart, who’s life and testimony reflect Jesus. If you ever walk into Danny Saavedra’s home, you’ll quickly say “wow, your home looks like a magazine cover”! As you roam through the rooms you’ll feel peace & harmony and can easily say, someone’s been praying here and there is order in this house. Her faith in God, kindness, and humility  makes her shine bright.  Her children adore and respect her, her husband loves  & admires her, and her devotion to her family as a priority is evident to all. When I asked her what her favorite bible verse was she stated, Proverbs 14:1 “The wise woman builds her house”.

Danny Saavedra was born in Nicaragua and came to the United States alone as a student at the young age of 16. Ten years after this, Danny got saved and accepted Jesus into her life at a local Christian church in Clermont, FL. Danny has been married for the past 22 years to Ariel Sanchez and together they have 3 handsome boys: Cristian 19, Nicolas 17, and Giovanny 13. It wasn’t until 2017 when she felt the calling of God to awaken to be the Esther that God designed her to be in her home, marriage, family, and where planted. She  is a pre-k Teacher and owns a business called “Helping Hands” Professional Home Organizing where she is hired to restore peace & order in your home by organizing & decluttering.

Questions:

      1. How has being an “Esther” and following Jesus changed your life?
I follow Jesus because I recognize that He is God, the Son of the Living God & my Savior. I’m grateful because Christ gave his life for me. His great mercy , grace and love was so great that He took my place. It’s knowing that because of His great sacrifice & unwavering love, all my sins have been forgiven and I have eternal life through Him. I’m never alone. Knowing Jesus gives me peace and the assurance that He is with me wherever I go. He hears my prayers and I feel His joy in my soul. I feel His presence and this makes me want to seek Him more and cast all my cares upon Him. I see His hand in all those that surround me. Knowing Christ has taught me how to pray because through Him, I have access to the thrown of grace. I now fervently pray for my marriage, my home, my children. I pray for their salvation and that the hedge of protection is always around us. Knowing Christ makes me want to pray for my family, friends, to study the Bible, to pray more and live for Him. He is real. I feel His presence and His hand in my life. I see it in every area of my life from personal finances to the harmony of my home. My trust is in Him and I’m amazed how He is making all things work out for our good.
    1.  2. What do you do to be an “Esther”? I spend time with the Lord. I like to wake up early in the morning and it is here when I pray and read the Bible. I spend time in His presence through prayer, worship, music, or a Spirit filled sermon. Being an Esther means living in obedience to His commands. I read the Bible so that I know what His will is for my life. There’s a saying that when we pray, we speak to God but when we read the Bible , God speaks to us. He also speaks to our hearts, our minds. All of a sudden I’m convicted of what I need to do or how to change, and sometimes how to just be still. His guidance is like whispers in my mind and heart. But physically, I can feel His presence as evidenced by my the tears rolling down my face. He is Holy and is the definition of pure love.
    2. Much Love, Peace, and Jesus,
